On 24th March this year,I went to Upper Warlingham BR station,which is the nearest staion in the London Travel Zones,on the edge of Zone 6,to this route on the North Downs Way from Mountain Bike Rider Magazine.
(I went to this station because it saved around £5 on the fare!)
Arriving at the station at around 5pm,after much procrastination at home,it was a lovely sunny day that this summer has largely failed to reproduce.
After cycling a few kilometres,I joined the route on the path leading up from the gold course.
I had previously completed been here on New Year’s Eve to New Year’s Day,doing the same course.But at that time it was raining quite heavily.

The surface was fairly dry ,as opposed to the ubiquitous mud last time I was here,but my total tim was pretty much the same as last time!
